To top everything
though, are the mountains, peaking at the crest of
the famous Blue Ridge Parkway and providing clean,
crisp air and wondrous views you won't forget,
including the Linn Cove Viaduct.
Of course you've heard of other attractions in the
area: Mystery Hill, The Blowing Rock, Tweetsie
Railroad (a miniature amusement park), Horn in the
West (live outdoor drama), Linville Falls and
Caverns, the awesome Grandfather Mountain with its
famous suspension bridge and petting farm, The Mast
General Store, Old Hampton's Working Grist-Mill,
Cheese Factory, whitewater rafting, golf courses,
sail plane rides, ASU's Summer Festival, as well as
Woodland's great barbeque and country music, and
many yard sales, auctions, flea markets, and craft
and antique shops. |
